Welcome to Magnan!,


As you probably know, Magnan is a family business. We have been maintaining and pursuing this tradition all this time. In 2007, we celebrated our 75th year of existance. This makes Magnan the oldest restaurant institution of Quebec origine.

A rare phenomenon, Magnan houses a butcher shop, a pastry shop, three complete kitchens, three bars and a grocery-boutique. We can now speak of the Magnan Complex. With all these installations, our objective is to make Magnan the best place for eating. Thanks to our staff, our genuine and high-quality products, and the diversity of our many atmospheres, you will find us to your liking.

At Magnan, the word "service" means not only direct customer service but also the service that makes your visit here a memorable experience. For us, preparing a dazzling plate that is delicious and well-garnished is as important as the courteousness with which it will be served to your table.

Declared a monument of national interest in 1965, it was restored and transformed into a museum in 1966. Maison Saint-Gabriel has been a proud partner of Magnan since 1997.
